The Neonatal Drug Development Fund (NDDF) is a philanthropic research fund, created at the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center with the support of Therabron Therapeutics, Inc. The purpose of the Neonatal Drug Development Fund is to support clinical trial and research expenses related to the clinical development of CC10 and other novel drugs to treat and prevent life-threatening and life-altering conditions unique to premature and newborn infants. A description of the fund, its mission, and patient populations served can be downloaded here.

The event was a wine and cheese fundraiser held at the company’s facility located at 9700 Great Seneca Highway in Rockville, MD. In addition to monetary donations, the event also sought to raise awareness of the critical unmet medical needs and lack of a charitable organization that funds clinical drug development in infants. Members from the local business, professional, and residential community were invited.
